Who operates Roy and how to contact us

Roy provides these account and AI gateway services. In these pages, “we” and “us” refer to Roy. For privacy requests, billing questions, refund requests or legal notices, email:

Using your balance

Your prepaid balance pays for usage routed through Roy. Charges depend on the model, measured usage and applicable Roy markup. The current default markup is 5%; a model or provider may have a different configured rate. Charges and top-ups are currently in USD, and Roy currently adds no top-up fee. Ask us for current model prices before paid use if you do not have them. The top-up amount is shown before confirmation. Paid credit has no scheduled expiry, is for service use and is not a bank deposit or transferable cash.

Card payments and automatic refill

Confirming a top-up authorizes the displayed card charge. Enabling automatic refill authorizes charges to the saved card you select when the balance falls below your chosen threshold, for your chosen refill amount. You can change or disable refill on the balance page. Disabling it does not cancel a payment already submitted. Keep billing information accurate, review receipts and history, and contact us before retrying a payment whose result is uncertain.

Refunds and billing problems

Email us to request a refund of unused paid credit or report an incorrect or unauthorized charge. Include the account email, invoice or transaction reference and the amount, without card details. We review requests against the payment and usage records and applicable law; submitting a request does not itself approve a refund. Consumed usage is generally not refundable except for a billing error or a right required by law. Any approved refund is normally returned to the original payment method. Account deletion does not initiate a refund; contact us before deleting if you want unused credit reviewed. Your mandatory refund and payment-dispute rights remain available.

Protecting access

Keep sign-in codes and program keys secret and use only accounts, computers and cards you are authorized to use. Anyone holding a usable key can incur charges against its balance. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for promptly reporting suspected misuse; mandatory protections for unauthorized payments still apply. Revoke unused keys and computer links. Signing out everywhere ends account sessions; revoke keys separately or delete the account to stop key access.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and intellectual-property rights. Do not use it for fraud, unlawful content, malware, harassment, unauthorized access, or attempts to bypass safeguards, usage limits or payment controls. Follow the selected AI provider’s applicable use restrictions. We may restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security threats, legal requirements or unpaid charges, and will provide notice and a way to contact us where reasonably possible.

Your content and AI answers

You retain your rights in the material you submit and must have the rights needed to submit it. You authorize us and the selected providers to process it as needed to provide the service. These terms do not transfer ownership of your input to Roy. AI answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, non-unique or subject to third-party rights; check them and review actions before relying on them. We do not guarantee ownership, exclusivity or suitability of an answer. Provider terms may affect use of outputs. Roy’s name, software and artwork remain protected by their applicable rights and licenses.

Availability and service changes

Model availability and response quality depend on external providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular AI result or completion of a task. We may maintain, change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable or required by law. Contact us about unused paid credit if a discontinuation prevents its use. Changes to model prices apply to future usage, not charges already incurred.

Responsibility and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it is error-free or suitable for every purpose. Neither party is responsible for indirect losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, deliberate misconduct or mandatory consumer, privacy and payment rights. No term requires you to waive those rights.

Account deletion

You can stop using the service, disable refill, revoke keys and close your account. Account deletion is irreversible, ends access and does not automatically refund remaining credit or erase all records. Read the Privacy notice and the account confirmation before continuing. Obligations for payments already authorized and lawful record retention survive closure.

Questions, disputes and applicable law

Contact us first with the details of a dispute so we can try to resolve it. The laws and courts that apply under mandatory law remain available to you, including consumer protections where you live. These terms do not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver or an exclusive court venue. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

The revision date identifies this version. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect where required by law and seek agreement where required. A change does not retroactively change completed payments or remove mandatory rights. If you do not accept a proposed change, stop future use and contact us about your account and any unused paid balance.
